Just announced though hardly a surprise. I wonder what, if anything, Vanessa’s appointment says about the likelihood of Daniel Kretinsky’s eventual take over of West Ham United.

Another false dawn, everyone was expecting, new owners by now. Sums up our terminal shit luck with owners. This news cements Sullivan's grip on the club.
No doubt when Sullivan eventually pegs it we'll have his gurning son also declaring how he's honoured to continue the family legacy,
Looks like Kretinsky only got involved to make a profit then.

Horsky resigned in August last year and took up an employee management role at WH. He was replaced by Jiri Svarc as Kretinsky's board representative.
This is WH Holding Ltd which is the main operating company I think but there are others. I can't be bothered to look further to be honest.
Oh btw Daniel Cunningham was married to Jacqueline Gold, a WH fan on the board. There was a story that he was still deeply grieving at his wife's death.
I guess Vanessa has replaced him in a more senior capacity but there's no update yet at Companies House.

She was always going to join the board . Once her dad's shares came out of probate . It's common sense. At least now that excuse has gone .

It is what it is. She owns half of her old man's shares, so has 10% (?) of the club.
Vanessa Gold, on behalf of The Family Trust, owns 25.1% of the club shares. No idea how, or if, that distils down to holdings for individuals.

Further investigation makes this news more interesting.
She not only has a seat on the board, she is Joint-Chairman along with the poison dwarf.
She controls all 25.1% of the Gold family's share of the club.
West Ham have updated their who's who page on the website today and Newman is no longer listed. Presumably he's gone. Apologies if that's old news. If so, that's a defeat for Sullivan, I believe.

Jaqueline was the top dog at Ann Summers, though I think Vanessa was involved in some capacity.
It is what it is. She owns half of her old man's shares, so has 10% (?) of the club. She's entitled to her seat on the board.
She can't be worse than some of the other cunts.

I think the key thing is that she has a joint say in how WHU is run. Sullivan & Gold were partners for 50 years so could take a lot for granted from each other.
Just because she's DG's grand daughter doesn't mean she will just give a nod to whatever DS says as she is used to running Ann Summers as Chair or top woman.
I had heard la while ago that the Gold family tended to side with Kretinsky more than they did Sullivan. That came from a source close to Jacqueline Gold's husband who has now stepped back from WHU I believe.
I think it could make a significant difference because DS has to share decisions with someone other than his long term mate.

I think you are right, their legacy will be around for a while yet. Our only hope is somebody offering enough money further down the line, that will make them all fuck off. In the short to mid term, we are stuck with them, one way or another.

Indicates to me that the Sullivan Gold and Brady is a long way from being over.

Very little. Kretinsky can take over West Ham, without buying any of the shares, from the Gold Family Trust.
